Handmade with tempered glass
These handmade bracelets are crafted by artisans using tempered glass and 24K gold plated beads on stretch elastic and measure 19cm / 7.5 inches in length.
Gift packaging - A Gift that gives back
They come in a drawstring fabric pouch together with a planting certificate for your 20 trees (each band plants 10 trees). You address your certificate personally (by hand) which explains how your trees combat global warming to help people and animals alike. There is also a gift card on which you can write a personal message, the back of which tells you all about Global Warming, it's impact on the planet and how your trees help to combat this threat to our lives.
Your bracelet & care
The tempered glass beads will hold their colours in water although they should not be exposed to perfumes, chemicals, cosmetics and the like. The 24K gold plated beads should be treated like all gold jewellery (see care guide).
Your order will be processed within 2 business days of receipt. Shipments are tracked and details for the delivery service you choose are shown on checkout.
The Maui Dolphin is the smallest of all dolphins and with less than 50 or so in existence, they are on the brink of extinction. The few that remain can be found on the Northern coasts of New Zealand where you'd think they might be out of harms way. Sadly discarded fishing nets and plastic can find their way everywhere in the seas. Our blue and white Maui Dolphin bracelet has black bands mimmicking their black, quirky Mickey Mouse ear-like dorsal fins. Maui Dolphins are characters, so please join us wearing a Maui and let's hope they can make a come-back as they shelter at the bottom of the world!
The are just 10, perhaps less, Vaquita dolphins still with us in the world today. They are victims of gillnets used for fishing in the shallow waters off the coast of Mexico. Our Vaquita Dolphin blue and white banded bracelet has distinctive black bands to match the dark circles around the Vaquita's eyes. It will take a lot more than hope to save these friendly and harmless mammals from the negligence of fishermen, and our bracelet asks fishermen to clean up after themselves in the name of this lovely mammal!
