Giving bands, animals and trees makes people happy through strengthening their relationships with nature  - with plants, animals and, of course, with each other.  So, as a family that’s become our mission - to inspire the next generation to restore our wildlife by spreading a little of Tolstoy’s happiness, the happiness they all bring into our lives. 

Part of that reconnection involves planting Mangrove trees - creating plants, giving animals a home, jobs for people and helping the planet by combating CO2.  Planting is managed and certified by Veritree (www.veritree.com)

Posting 3 grams of beads back to us isn't worthwhile, so we encourage our supporters to reuse them and make their own designs. 

Our shop and market stall are in Australia where we also design our bands. 

We source our glass beads from a family business in Japan that's been making them for a hundred years. 

Our bands are assembled by ladies living in villages in Jaipur, in India. Again managed by a local family business. 

Planting of the trees happens in East Africa - Kenya, Tanzania - mostly by women supporting local communities who also care for the trees.

And Veritree in Canada, a business started by 3 friends, who've planted over 100 million trees. 

And in 2026 we launched our market stall in the United Kingdom.
