Returns Policy

If you’re not filled with joy and happiness when you receive your bands, we accept returns for all new, unworn, unaltered, full-priced items so long as it has the original tags and packaging.

You’ve got 14 days to ponder on how you feel about your purchase, but please don’t wear your bands while you’re thinking about it.

Sorry to say sale items are a final sale for which and returns or exchanges will not be accommodated.

Un-planting Trees Policy

We don’t un-plant trees. Trees are committed for planting at purchase and if you return your purchase the trees stay where they belong. In the ground.

Starting A Return

To request a return, shoot us an email hearts@bandsofcourage.com and we’ll get back to you. 

The returns process may take up to 21 days with all the coming and going and we’ll do our best to shorten that. Once we’ve verified your return is in the right shape we will make the refund. 

International returns, outside Australia

To request a return, shoot us an email hearts@bandsofcourage.com and we’ll get back to you. 

The international returns process may take up to 30 days with all the coming and going and we’ll do our best to shorten that. Once we’ve verified your return is in the right shape we will make the refund. 

Exchanges

For exchanges, please process your original purchase as a return (above) and then please place an order for the new size/style, and we will process the refund when your original purchase is received.

Customs and Duties

We ship International orders from Australia DDU (Duties Delivered Unpaid). Once the carrier is in possession of your order, you are responsible for any additional taxes and duties. We’re not responsible for any fees charged by customs or similar bodies. 

What this means for returns is that if you returning your item, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges, and any duties, taxes and other customs charges on your package for both the original and return shipments. Sorry, we can’t refund any shipping fees on your original purchase.

Items you can’t return

Earrings: We can’t accept returns of earrings for reasons of hygiene.  

Engraved items: We can’t accept returns of items that are engraved if they have been personally engraved for you (we’ll start personal engraving in 2026).

Gift Cards and Vouchers

Purchases made in our shop: these should be returned to the shop.

Returning a Gift

If sadly you’d like to return a gift purchased by someone else, you will need the order number, phone number/postcode/email from the original order that was placed. You can get this information from the person who gave you the gift. 

For reasons of privacy we can’t customer information.
