The Market Stall that planted One Million Trees
The many problems we solved, the lessons we learned creating an Australian brand with our local community.
The Hobby
Making beaded bracelets inspired by endangered animals—each one capturing the colours and spirit of a species at risk of extinction.
The Problem
70% of our wildlife gone in the last 50 years.
The Goal
To help save the animals by raising awareness and planting 10 trees for each bracelet sold.
The Inspiration
A 19th century children’s story, Alice in Wonderland; a 19th century author, Leo Tolstoy; a 19th-century philosopher, Georg Hegel; and a Roman Emperor, Marcus Aurelius.
The Test
To see whether these world-famous characters, who all changed their worlds, could help us change ours, for the better by helping to restore the environment.
