This bracelet is handmade by artisans using tempered glass and 24K gold plated beads, and is available in two styles, stretch elastic or adjustable cotton.

The stretch bracelet measures 17cm / 6.5 inches in length. The adjustable bracelet uses toughened cotton and fits any size of wrist between 13 cm (5.2 inches) and 24 cm (9.5 inches).

Every band comes in its own drawstring fabric pouch together with a planting certificate for your 10 trees. You address your certificate personally (by hand) which explains how your trees combat global warming to help people and animals alike. There is also a gift card on which you can write a personal message, the back of which tells you all about Polar Bears and why they are endangered.

Kermode Bears can be black or white, it's the white ones who are the so-called Spirit Bears. The Kermode Bear was given its name after a Canadian naturalist, Francis Kermode, which has now entered the vernacular as meaning 'black bear'. According to the Kitasoo legend, Raven, The Creator of the world, made a pact with the bears making every tenth bear white, to remind people of the ice age. This reminder of harsh times, when the world was decimated by ice, should be a reminder to us all of what could lie ahead lest we cure our ways and tidy up our planet.

This trio of the Spirit Bear, Iberian Lynx and Siberian Tiger is a unique combination of bracelets. Handmade by artisans in an ethical and sustainable manner, the Lynx measures 18.5cms (7.75 inches) in length including the clasp which can be attached to any of the links to make it adjustable size-wise. The Spirit Bear and Siberian Tiger are made with tempered glass and stainless steel beads with the stretch style measuring 17cm (6.5 inches) in length and the adjustable cotton bracelet in lengths of 13cms to 22cms. 

Your bands plant 30 Mangrove Trees to provide a home for marine and land animals, and recycles a whopping 9.24 tonnes of CO2.

The Iberian Lynx

The Iberian Lynx is a wild cat and one of the rarest felines in the world with just over 2,000 left on the planet. Lynxes have pointy black tipped ears, a tawny gold coat with black spots and a little goatee beard which makes them look very cute and very wise! Iberian Lynx's grown to about three feet or a meter in length, and they survive on rabbits and other small game. Also called the Spanish Lynx, they live in Spain and Portugal - on the Iberian Peninsula - and are an inspiring example of how we can help a species recover. The population of Lynxes has recovered from just 100 cats in 2002 to 2,021 today, thanks to the Spanish Government, the European Union and private groups working together! Showing us how it's done! Tigers

The world's total Tiger population has shrunk by 96% in the last century with not more than 4,000 remaining, most of which live in India. 3 sub-species are now extinct and 5 remain, including the Siberian Tiger of which there are around 400 still living. The causes of this population loss are loss of habitat and poaching.  Tigers are solitary animals, although there is a name for a group of Tigers - an "ambush", which, of course, is how they hunt. Tigers are carnivores with adults weighing over 500 pounds and growing to ten feet in length! As babies, Tigers are born blind, and one in two survive living up to 25 years. Although Tigers are cats they can't purr and have their own language.

Snow Leopards

The 5,155 Snow Leopards now left on our planet are scattered across 12 different countries! They live alone, which is why there isn’t a name for a group of Snow Leopards, and individual territories can measure up to 1,000 square kilometres! Snow Leopards are most closely related to Tigers, but they can't roar and instead they chuff, growl, hiss, and mew. Snow Leopards grow up to 4 feet long, with 3 foot long tails, and weigh up to 100 pounds, a third of the size of a Green Sea Turtle! For their size, Snow Leopards are incredibly powerful and can leap distances of up to 50 feet and 20 feet up into the air. Built to live in the harshest of mountainous environments, global warming is changing their habitat reducing the numbers of animals, their prey, on which Snow Leopards depend for food. Your trees combat global warming to preserve the Leopard's snowy the habitats. Thank you for helping these gorgeous very furry cats!

The Iberian Lynx

The Iberian Lynx is so called because it's made up of links or 'Lynx' and, like the gorgeous feline - the Iberian Lynx - it symbolises, is shades of gold. The Iberian Lynx lives on the Iberian Peninsula in Spain and is also known as the Spanish Lynx. It's the most endangered feline in the world today with a population of just 400 left on the planet. It was less than 100 at the beginning of the century, so things are looking up! They have a tawny gold coat and a beard which makes them look very cute indeed! Iberian Lynx's grow to about three feet or a metre and live amongst the trees!

Polar Bears

Polar Bears are the largest carnivores in the world, a title once held by T-Rex and, uniquely for a bear, classified as ‘marine mammals' as they swim long distances. They are called ‘Polar’ because they only live at the Arctic North Pole. With their blue tongues, black skin and white fur, they grow to over 800kgs and 12 feet long! But being the biggest predator on the planet is no guarantee of survival. Global Warming is melting their home, the Arctic, at a rate of 13% every 10 years so they’ll have nowhere to live by 2100. Food is becoming scarce with only 2% of hunts being successful. There are just 26,000 Polar Bears left, let’s hope they don’t go the way of their forebears, T-Rex! 

White Rhinos

There are 5 species of Rhino with populations - The Sumatran (30), The Javan (18), The Greater One-horned Rhino in India (2,100), The African Black (3,142) and The White Rhino which has 2 populations in Africa - The Northern Population (2) and the Southern population (10,078). Weighing over 3 tonnes, White Rhinos are the 2nd largest land animal after elephants and are named after the Africaan’s word ‘wyd’, which means wide, because of their square shaped lips. Their principal threat is being hunted for their horns which are prized for medicinal purposes. Their horns grow up to 7 cms (3 inches) a year and are made of Keratin, like our hair and nails. Their horns, their principal source of protection in Nature, has become their Achilles Heel where humans are concerned.

Loggerhead Sea Turtle Population

Loggerhead Sea Turtles are so called because of their large or log heads, which support bone crushing jaws to feed on hard shell creatures like sea urchins. Loggerheads live across the world in the Mediterranean Pacific, and warmer oceans and seas. They nest on beaches and the warmer the sand the more females are born, upsetting the balance of the species. They are also threatened by fishing nets, plastic bags and damage to their nesting beaches, the population is decreasing. Every two to three years females return to the beaches where they were born to nest, which means taking a dangerous journey of over 12,000 miles. That’s a long journey with many dangers today, so it’s no wonder their population is in decline. There could be as few as 36,000 nesting female Loggerheads remaining in 2015. 

Sea Turtles

Sea turtles can't retract their heads and legs into their bodies, so their shells aren't really homes as such, more like a shield. And it's this armour that's helped them to become one of the oldest living species on the planet today - turtles were trawling the world's oceans over 100 million years ago when T-Rex was hunting dinosaurs on land. Sadly their shield is no match for the threats humanity has introduced into the oceans including plastic bags which they eat mistaking them for jellyfish (their favourite food); discarded fishing nets, which they get caught up in and drown and, of course, they are hunted for meat. But it's Global Warming that will likely determine their destiny. In the oceans, warmer waters are bleaching the reefs destroying the turtles' natural habitats, and on land, the hotter sands in which turtles lay their eggs are producing more female than male turtles. The heat of the sand in which the eggs gestate determines the sex of the hatchlings and, the warmer it gets, the fewer females and the fewer eggs in future. People, the seas and the lands all seem totally aligned against these gorgeous little creatures who've been around forever.
