Bondi Beach’s one kilometer of smiling sand is home to 2, yes 2, surf life saving clubs, one of them – The Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club, is the oldest surf life saving club in the world! The other, The North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. Together they host 3 million swimmers a year, with up to 40 lifeguards in busy periods saving over 100 people a day in summer. That's 40 people saving maybe as many as 40,000 lives every year, or about 1,000 lives saved per lifeguard per year!

Bondi is one of Australia’s almost 12,000 beaches which, by 2100, could lose up to 50% or more of their sand thanks to rising sea levels and coastal erosion caused by climate change. Every Bondi charm and band plants 10 trees to help combat climate change and, on your behalf, we donate $1 to Surf Life Saving Australia.

The Golden Lariat is related to the Lynx as they are both golden! Our gold lariat necklace joins our small but growing collection of 18k gold vermeil jewellery. The necklace measures 80cm (31 inches) in length with a rod and hoop. The necklace is made of 925 sterling silver with 3 microns of 18K gold plating.   

Your band plants 10 Mangrove Trees to provide a home for marine and land animals, and recycles a whopping 3.08 tonnes of CO2.
